About Priya Sowerby
Priya Sowerby works with women, men and adolescents in addressing issues
and emotions that contribute to depression, anxiety, and relationship problems.
In an atmosphere of caring and acceptance, she helps people learn to identify
and express deep feelings that have often been long ignored.
In couples therapy with Priya, men and women learn to communicate in productive and effective ways in order to increase intimacy and marital satisfaction. Couples counseling can provide a much needed forum for people to address issues in a marriage or partnership, and the tools with which to do so.
Priya also facilitates women's support groups that allow participants the opportunity to connect on an authentic and deep level with others.
Growing up in Hawaii and spending years living in Europe and Asia have given Priya a multicultural perspective and an appreciation for diverse human experiences. Being married and parenting two young children provides her with a felt understanding of the joys and challenges that family life can bring.
