About Mark Charnas
Mark has been described as both wise and compassionate by his clients. He thoroughly enjoys his work and takes an intense interest in each and every client. He has over 30 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. His style is directive, yet focused on the needs and goals of his client(s). He enjoys working with pre-adolescents and adolescents in addition to adults of all ages. His areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, crisis intervention, chemical dependency, compulsive behaviors, grief, trauma, life transitions, and problem solving. His work with couples includes communication and relationship issues, improving marital satisfaction, and issues related to betrayal of trust.

In addition to working with clients, he assists companies with management-employee conflicts, consults with managed care companies regarding their treatment staff, gives talks to employee groups, and does psychological evaluations for medical procedures.
