About Madeline Gold
I was born in New York City, and have lived in Northern California since 1976. I am interested in working with people of all ages, including children; adults suffering from the ill effects of childhood abuse or emotional neglect; those interested in mindfulness, presence and alternate states of consciousness as well as traditional spirituality, dreams, artistic process and symbols; grief, loss and illness; and meaning-making. I am interested in the individuation process and the development of the self well into adulthood. Although life is admittedly challenging for most of us, I believe it is possible to have meaningful, important and creative relationships with others and with ourselves.
