I feel passionate working with those who struggle with eating disorder
and body image issues because I have dealt with these issues myself since
childhood. I know that with hard work, courage, and patience recovery is
possible and so very worth it! Everyone deserves to know skin deep, the
truth of his or her own magnificence!
Irene Ives, Ph.D. is a licensed Clinical
Psychologist with over 25 years experience working in the field of eating
disorders. She received her doctoral degree from the Institute of Imaginal
Studies, where she researched Shame and Compulsive Eating from a developmental,
cultural, and archetypal (symbolic) approach. Her specialty involves working
with personal imagery to uncover the symbolism behind the eating disorder
while bringing forth inner change.
