About Ed Merrin
I have been a practicing psychiatrist for over 30 years and have worked
in both government, academic, and private settings. I have served as
an examiner for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and I
am an active member of the American Psychiatric Association. In the past
I have helped train many of the psychiatrists currently practicing in
the Bay Area.
My focus is on accurate diagnosis and psychopharmacology. I work with all forms of psychiatric problems, including those associated with physical illness and dementia. When called upon I can work closely with a patient’s primary care physician to maximize the coordination of care.
